Set 27 The Victorian Quilt
Click on each set to take you to the full sets, click on the last pattern in most sets to download as a gift to try this method. These sets are done with 3 or 4 colours. I have made the border a different colour so you could choose to do it in any colour of your choice. What you will need is a very light for the 1st colour which is the background, then a medium through a dark of variations of the same colours. You may choose any colour that fits in you colour scheme. Please read the pdf file found in set for sewing and colour information for photostitch sets Each Set is $30.00 These are really beautiful sewn out using one colour an iridescent or translucent or metallic thread. What I am doing is embroidering one square out on a Satin 9x11 rectangle and a plain square in-between which has been covered with lace over the satin . The squares are then stippled freehand. Those of you who have the handiquilter sew all the squares together and then freehand stipple using the handiquilter. Some sets now available in 4x4, The Frame is differnt than the 5x7 frames because of the size, The sample pictures show the frames. |
